Individual
Tuition
Traditionally Yoga
was taught on an individual basis and it is still seen as an important
way to explore Yoga. Individual tuition is tailored towards your needs, taking into account your interests, life-style and current state of health.
Within these one to
one meetings, a practice is developed and personalised for you. The teacher guides you through the practice, making sure you are comfortable and confident with what you are to practice on a regular basis at home.
- Getting started :
An initial half-hour consultation, which is free, is advised to discuss your interests and needs. The first official session (up to one hour 15 minutes) costs Euro 75.00. All subsequent sessions (up to one hour) cost Euro 60.00
- Frequency
of lessons: Normally there is an agreement to meet for six sessions over a three month period. Three months will give you sufficient time to see the benefits. After three months, you reassess with the teacher. If you choose to continue, you usually come every four to six weeks but this can vary according to your progress
and how you relate to the practice.
- Home
Practice: The home practice can vary in length from 10 minutes
to an hour, depending on how much time you have available. Normally,
the practice is from about 25 to 45 minutes.
Who would benefit from individual tuition?
- Yoga students wishing to support and develop their practice.
- People who find it difficult to commit to a regular group class due to life circumstances, such as work hours, distance, etc.
- People with specific problems, including stress, anxiety, chronic back/neck pain, breathing difficulty.
- Those who wish to explore what it means to positively influence their own well-being.
