Hanne Gillespie

Hanne, born in Norway, now resident in Ireland, has been practising and studying yoga since 1980.  She commenced teaching yoga in 1990 when she established Clonlea Yoga Studio.  In 1999 she became a post graduate teacher with the A.Y.S., having studied with Paul Harvey during the nineties.  During this time she also studied three years Transpersonal Psychology at Eckhart House.  More recently she has had the opportunity to continue her study of yoga, being part of a group of senior teachers who meet up and attend seminars with Peter Hersnach. 

Aside from running regular group classes, she also gives individual tuition and runs workshops and study courses.

Hanne lives with her sculptor husband, Rowan Gillespie at Clonlea Studios.  It is here they have raised their children and worked for more than 30 years, creating an environment of tranquility and care where art, yoga and complementary practices can flourish.
