General Group Classes
The group classes take into account whether you are a beginner or someone with previous experience. The classes are run weekly over three terms on a six week basis. Please see individual teacher profiles for more details.
Beginners
Teachers: Eleanor, Roisi, Paula
Beginners class presents the basic principles of practice. It involves learning core postures with the appropriate use of the breath. Sound and simple meditative practices are introduced. Beginners classes are offered to reflect our different abilities and stages in life (regular; energetic; over 60's).

Mixed
Teachers: Hanne, Roisi, Paula, Lisa
Mixed class is for beginners and ongoing students. Building on the beginners class it will focus on the further development of the core postures with the use of breath. We will also work with sound and meditative practices, together with seated breathing and chanting. It is a class for students to deepen their awareness and relationship to yoga practice.

Established
Teacher: Hanne, Lisa
Established class is for those who have a minimum of two year's experience from a regular group class and who want to explore and stretch their abilities in a more dynamic, or depending upon the practice, a more subtle way. Time is set aside for meditation practices with seated breathing and chanting.

Specialist Back Care Class

Your back is designed to hold you up, keep you mobile, and allow you do all the things you love doing. Yet, 80% of adults suffer back-pain at some stage in their life. So, how can you get back on track and stay there? The key to lasting recovery is to address the root cause of your symptoms using a combination of physical movement, mental awareness, inner focus and breathing.

Pregnancy
Teacher: Grainne
Pregnancy yoga is suitable for women from the second trimester. It can help to maintain physical health and relieve common ailments during pregnancy, including: heartburn; swollen joints; restless sleep.
The class gives you time to be with your baby and helps to prepare for a more confident birth.

Mama-baby
Teacher: Sinéad
Mama-baby yoga is a relaxed post-natal class designed to help new mums restore their posture, strength and balance. Yoga for baby will stimulate motor skills, co-ordination, body-awareness, confidence, communication and bonding. We also practice baby-friendly breathing and relaxation techniques to help bring a sense of calm and equilibrium.

Baby massage

Baby massage will teach all about baby massage including specific techniques which help to relieve colic, wind and constipation. Babies are welcome from birth to crawling stage, though babies may be more receptive after 6 weeks of age.

Chant/Voice workshops

Chant/Voice workshops run monthly on the second Saturday of the month. Everyone is welcome - no previous experience with music or sound is necessary. We will explore the voice through simple sound and movement.
