Clonlea Yoga Studio

Clonlea Yoga Studio, established in 1990, is purpose built and set in a tranquil environment in Blackrock, County Dublin. It is run by Hanne Gillespie.

Yoga at Clonlea Studio offers:

• Workshops and study courses

• Teacher Training courses

The teaching of yoga at Clonlea is inspired by T Krishnamacharya and his son, TKV Desikachar.  Hanne trained and studied in this approach under Paul Harvey, and more recently in association with Peter Hersnack, a long-standing student of TKV Desikachar.

Clonlea Yoga Studio reflects this approach, which implies respect for the individual with their unique condition, needs and interests.

*The Association for Yoga Studies (aYs) (formerly known as Viniyoga Britain) is a community of teachers and students whose practice is inspired by the teaching of T. Krishnamacharya, his son, T.K.V. Desikachar and their students.  It was founded by Paul Harvey in 1981.
